Definition
The measured thickness of a specified layer or layer combination. Values are only comparable when the included components and measurement basis are clear.
Why it matters
Check whether adhesive, release liner or temporary cap sheet are included. More thickness alone does not establish better overall protection, appearance or fitting performance. Compare a complete documented construction.
