PVC is used in many film products and vehicle graphics. Learn how it differs from TPU used in modern paint protection films.
Why it matters
Do not judge all products from a polymer name alone. If a protective film uses PVC, ask for its intended automotive application and documented properties. Decorative vinyl is not automatically a substitute for a dedicated impact-protection film.
